Dog Trainer/Training Program Manager
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a busy, established dog grooming and retail business with a loyal client base, looking for a motivated and experienced Dog Trainer to relaunch, build, and grow our training program from the ground up.
You’ll have access to a dedicated training space, strong exposure to our grooming clients, and full freedom to design your own classes, private sessions, and training style. This is an excellent opportunity for someone entrepreneurial who wants to build and run a successful training program within a reputable pet facility.
What You’ll Do

Teach group classes and private training sessions

Relaunch and build a training program around your style and philosophies

Build and recruit your own clientele (you’re welcome to market to our existing grooming customers, but client development is your responsibility). This role requires consistent and proactive promotion, including regular social media posting, in-store client engagement, timely follow-up with all inquiries, and ongoing efforts to generate new bookings.

Compensation:
Commission-based pay structure. Earnings are based on the training services you provide, with strong income potential for motivated trainers. Details will be discussed during the interview.

Bather/Groomer's Assistant
We currently have an opening for the position of Bather/Groomer's Assistant. Seeking an individual for part time work, long-term. This position has the opportunity to increased hours, based upon reliability, ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently and job enthusiasm.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, great with people (and of course, dogs!) Someone who has experience with dogs and can read their body language, someone who can multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment. This position includes, but is not limited to: bathing and prepping dogs for their bath or grooming services; clip/dremmel nails, clean/pluck ears, shave paw pads, occasional pre-clip of matted dogs, blow-dry, brushouts, de-shedding/de-matting, customer service; checking in/out clients, assisting clients with their store purchases, phones, cleaning, opening/closing duties, etc.
Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for this role. Frequent call-outs or last-minute absences are not acceptable. Saturdays are a must for this position.
**EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS, BUT WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL**
This position could potentially lead to a full-service grooming position for the right individual who may be looking to commit to learn and start a career as a dog groomer!

starting pay for this position is $17/hr PLUS TIPS

EXPERIENCED DOG GROOMER
If you are fun, reliable, motivated, great with dogs and people, a multitasker and love working in a fast paced setting. If you love to produce quality work over quantity, we may have a position here for you!
We are looking for a Part time dog groomer (approximately 20hours/week), long-term. Pay based on experience. Possibility of providing a bather. Benefits include; store discounts, Christmas bonus, uniforms.
Tasks include (but are not limited to); grooming dogs to Ultimate Dog standards, client relations, checking in and out clients, answering phones, cleaning, etc.
Previous dog grooming/all breed haircut experience necessary​
