Alex began his dog training career fourteen years ago , while volunteering at a local animal shelter in New Milford , Connecticut . There, he had the good fortune of befriending and shadowing dog trainers Jeff and Yael Morgan, who showed him a unique, relationship based approach to canine behavior that he embraces to this day. After a one year shadow program with Jeff and Yael, Alex has continued his education by continually seeking out  seminars, shadow programs, books and video content.  Throughout his career, he has gained experience in various aspects of the dog industry, including veterinary assistance, dog adoption, and dog daycare, all of which have been crucial in shaping his approach to dog training. Over the years, Alex has developed a training method that focuses on empowering owners to develop strong, harmonious relationships with their dogs, built on mutual trust and respect. He is thrilled to bring his experience and knowledge to Ultimate Dog.
